Alternate Energy is located in America's hometown Plymouth, MA. Alternate Energy was founded in 1974 by Steve Pitney. After many years of running a successful business, Steve decided that it was time to pass the baton to his step son, Derek Ricardo.

Derek did some restructuring of the company along with giving the logo a fresh new look. Derek has spent many years working alongside Steve and is excited to manage the company that Steve worked so hard to build.

Unlike other large companies, Alternate Energy has lower overhead cost which translates to customer savings. As solar companies come and go, one thing you can be sure of is that Alternate Energy will be here for years to come.
